Hi everyone, I am taking the MEPAP online and we have an assignment to interview folks about the changes they have seenin Long Term Care in the last 10 years..any input? I have interviewed a number of nurses in my facility, would like to open it up to a broader / country wide questioning... Thanks!

How do you think the next 10 yrs will affect Activities...more prominent or what changes will be made in light of new Medicare reforms...cuts..etc..

How has the field of Activities, and long term care changed in the last 10 years that you have noticed...?

I am taking the MEPAP I course on line. I have recently found this site and have enjoyed surfing through it. I am in Rockport, Massachusetts and currently work as a CNA but am hopeful and planning to find employment as an Activity Director once I receive my Certification. Love the field!

Hello! I am enrolled in the online course and loving it! I am a CNA at Golden Living in Gloucester MA. I hope to complete these courses and get my Certification as a Activity Director.then 'God Willing' find a job nearby..I feel That is my 'calling'...but my job now, is great experience for the next 'step'☺.I am learning so much from all of you who are already in the field.
