  1. I am new to the forum. I live in Oklahoma, and I am enrolled in the A/SS Directors course in August in OKC. I'm a married lady with two daughters. One daughter just graduated high school. The other daughter is going to be a sophomore in high school. I was an assistant working at another facility. I accepted a position as a director at another facility. The administrator hired me even though I am not certified yet as I do know most of the laws and procedures. Here is the dilemma: IT IS SO DISORGANIZED!! The lady who has been the acting director is very nice, but she's only been doing it for about 6 weeks. The actual director was let go for not being a "team player," I am told. However, she was not keeping up with her documentation or charting. The last charting I could find was back in Feb. of this year. I have to start from scratch, I feel like. Has anyone else been in this sort of position before?
