We are currently hiring a Program Assistant to work in our Alzheimer's neighborhood 30 hours a week. Generally, the hours will be Monday-Friday from 9:30am-4pm, but weekend and evening hours may be occasionally required.

 

The job requirements are to:

Have at least 12 months experience coordinating programs or activities for seniors in a group environment.

Consistently and genuinely demonstrate the STARS principles of Service, Teamwork, Action, Reputation and Success in all activities and interactions.

Assist with implementation of physical, social, recreational, intellectual/educational, religious, service/volunteering and special interest requests of the Residents.

Transport and/or accompany Residents to and from outside activities and appointments in community vehicle(s).

Ensure that associates, residents and families are keenly aware of upcoming activities, programs and events, ensuring that customer's expectations are met or exceeded.

Assist to develop, organize and ensure delivery of the community's monthly newsletter to residents, families and to the Marketing Department to be sent out to their target list.

Participate in and attend all required in-service training sessions as scheduled.

Other duties as assigned.
