So I can work in the facility but can't sign the papework, is that correct?

Can anybody please help me. I have been offered an Activity Director job at a facility where I have worked for the past 5 yrs (not in activities). I recently completed my MEPAP 1 am about to enrol for the MEPAP 2. Would I be able to work as an Activity Diirector whilst doing the MEPAP 2? I am frightened that I may be doing something illegal by signing the assessments. I also work as a weekend activities co-ordinator at another facility in order to gain experience, which I have done for the last 6 months. I previously worked with residents over 55 yrs for about 4 years in Europe. I am hearing so much about having to be certified that I have become very worried incase I am not qualified to do this job. Could somebody please answer my question as I would really love to take this opportunity. Thanks
