I work in an SNF with 70 beds and I am a Life Enrichment Assistant, going for my certification. My main job is to do assessments and MDS for our Rehab Wing. I am Nina Jacobs, live in Delray Beach Florida and work as " Enrichment Coordinator" in an ILF. I am looking actively for a different job as mine is a dead end and working for my corporation is not fun! I am working in this field for almost 11 years now - hard to believe! - time flies when you are having fun and raising a kid! I am looking forward of getting more information on all the other places one can work and I know once you move into assisted living and on there is a lot of paperwork to be done! I live in West Chester, PA but work in Kennett Square, PA at a CCRC. I am excited to be in my last week of this class and I pray that I pass and receive my Certificate. It has been a pleasure learning with you all in MEPAP1. I have worked in LTC as a CNA for over 25 years and now I'm so excited to become a Activities Director. When I started this journey I had been in activities assist for 4 years. I love what I do . I am young and have a long way to go, but I have achieved so much in just 3 years. I am currently taking the MEPAP1 course and will be starting the MEPAP2 soon.
