Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how to play and or make a KD game board? I've found some cute horse crafts, but am clueless about the game itself. couldn't find instructions on the inet either.

Thanx 4 any help.

If you have an activity room with square tiles these can serve as your race track. We ordered large foam dice. We had someone cut out 6 wooden horse shapes and paint them, each with a number from 1-6. Residents roll the dice and we move the horse whose number is on the dice one space. We also recently acquired some stick horses with plush heads that make horse sounds when you push their ears. We have given them to the residents and made them the jockeys. When they roll the dice they move instead of moving the wooden horse. Residents really enjoy this one. You can also get a spinner, putting the color of each horse on it and spin to see which horse will move then roll the dice the number of spaces.

Now if you dont have a tile floor, you can also get a white or solid color vinyl fleece backed tablecloth and draw squares on it and play on a table top (or on the floor if it is easier).

We group residents together by horse number so when one horse wins several residents win either money or a prize.

Hope this helps.
