We used to do an activity cart - word searches, crosswords, magazines, lacing activites, stringing activities, sorting, community knitting etc.

We have our residents string cheerios which we tell them we hang on the trees for the birds. Doesn't matter if they eat them because they are edible.

I have developed a computer software program for tracking attendance and participation. I work in a long term care facility in Ontario, Canada.
