[evening activities]

A church does a bible study for us every other Tuesday.  Also, I am leaving a movie for them to pop in on Friday "Movie" nights.

Indoor horseshoes, Wii games (men like to compete!)

Also I am planning a trip to an aviation museum I think they will like.

[Getting Residents involved]

Food always works!  I go table-to-table at lunch time and talk-up an activity that I think they would enjoy.  I usually carry a flyer with me.  I am usually out and about in the dining room anyway helping to take orders and deliver food.  I also have a couple residents that are good at telling other people for me (free advertisement!)

I tried Wii bowling once.  Some learned the controller pretty quickly, others never got it, and got frustrated.  I would like to do it again.
