Activity Program Coordinator - Senior Living - Sunnyvale

Our Upscale Senior Living Community in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an entry level, high energy, self motivated, hands-on Activity Program Coordinator to plan, coordinate and facilitate activities. You will create a variety of programs that reflect the interests, and values of our residents. This is the ideal position for the person who truly enjoys daily resident contact.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote resident socialization by planning and implementing activities and programs for our assisted living residents
Decorate the Community for special events, seasons and holidays
Integrate the family and community in planned programs and activities
Supervise full and part time Drivers
Coordinate volunteers to assist with various programs
Oversee the Center for Learning (Computer Resource Center)
REQUIREMENTS:
Associates Degree in Recreational Therapy or Gerontology required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
Proficient Communication Skills
Publisher, Microsoft Word, Outlook skills required (full computer resources available)
