Activity Department Policies & Procedures

Hi! I've been in activities for two years, both as the activity director. I'm trying to update our policy and procedure book, and I have noticed that we do not have a single activity-department specific policy/procedure for anything. All the policies we have are general, such as hand washing, attendance, etc. Does anyone know where I can get some general activity department policies for free or very cheap, so I can get an idea of what needs to be in the manual? I am at a loss as to where to start. Thanks!

Hi,
I am actually in need of the same thing. We are about to get surveyed and I am scared to death someone is going to ask for a Policies and Procedures for the ACT. Dept. We don't have one policy in writing in my dept. Please let me know if you find something that is adaptable.

hi, i also am very much in need of information on obtaining a sample of a policy and procedures for activity dept. any help would be appreciated.

Ideas- for Activity Policies & Procedures: Stylist Orientation, Beauty Salon, Invoices, Resident Rights, Effective Communication, Permission Slips, Birthday Cards, Incident/ Occurrence Reports, Bus Trips, Volunteer Orientation, Programs (times, amount, hours open, evenings, holidays and weekends coverage), Care Plans Hope this will help!
